About Yazen
The digital obesity clinic defining medical weight loss in Europe
Our vision is to defeat obesity globally

Founded in Sweden in 2021, Yazen is Europe’s premium digital obesity clinic, redefining medical weight loss through a scalable multidisciplinary care model that combines GLP-1 therapies with continuous digital support to deliver unmatched patient retention.
Yazen’s methodology is rooted in well-proven science, ensuring each patient receives a personal assessment and an individually adapted treatment plan.
Patients are guided by their own Yazen doctor and coach plus dietitian, psychologist, and personal trainer, a system extensive research demonstrates is the most effective for achieving long-term and sustainable weight loss. At Yazen, we believe health extends beyond numbers on a scale; it is about finding balance—in body, mind, and daily life.
The Yazen model is scaled for international delivery, positioning us for ambitious growth to help more patients achieve their weight loss goals and live a happier, healthier life.
At Yazen, we are dedicated to delivering stakeholder value while transforming the future of obesity treatment.
Why Yazen?
The name Yazen reflects our belief that successful obesity treatment is about achieving balance. Balance between medical treatment and lifestyle change. Between physical health and mental wellbeing. Between short-term results and long-term success.
This philosophy is at the heart of Yazen’s approach. By combining evidence-based obesity medicine with continuous clinical and behavioural support, we help patients achieve sustainable weight loss and lasting health outcomes.
Yazen stands for science-led care, compassionate support, and a commitment to helping people build healthier lives for the long term.

Chief Product Officer, Founder
Dr. Magnus Nyhlén
With an academic background in systems science and later also medicine, I am driven by a vision to improve and increase the accessibility of healthcare through digitization. The potential of digitization lies in giving patients increased support and a better understanding of their health, which in turn gives them the opportunity to take more active responsibility for their own care, which leads to better treatment results. My entrepreneurial journey began in 2013 when I founded Mindoktor, a milestone in the digitization of Swedish healthcare. Through my involvement and work in companies such as LUVIT, Mindoktor, Blodtrycksdoktorn, Docly and Yazen, I have more than 25 years of experience in establishing and running companies in areas related to the digitization of education and healthcare.
